Project Background
Addu City is a key economic and demographic hub in the southern Maldives. Hithadhoo, Hulhudhoo, and Meedhoo, as its core components, have long faced constraints on local socio-economic development due to the lack of connectivity between these islands. This project is a priority transportation initiative within the Maldivian government's national development plan and is highly anticipated by various sectors.
