Jinyinhu Ring Road Renovation Project
Introduction
The project is located on Huanhu Road in Jinyinhu District, Dongxihu District, Wuhan City. It starts from Machi Road, intersects with multiple planned and existing roads along the way, and ends at a T-shaped intersection with Jinshan Avenue. The width of the road red line is controlled at 50m, and the width of the landscape green line is controlled at 100-150m.
There are five bridges along the Huanhu Road, built along the lake's ring shape and not connected to each other. They are Lizidun Middle Bridge, Baimajing Middle Bridge, Nihujiang River Bridge, Jinghe Bridge, and Haikou Bridge. Except for Baimajing Bridge, which remains as the main road and pedestrian walkway, and a new auxiliary road bridge, the other four bridges have been demolished and rebuilt.
This project focuses on the orderly creation of landscapes along the lakeshore, enriching cultural connotations, achieving diversified bridge styles, and creating one bridge, one scenery. And set up a hydrophilic platform to create an ecological environment where humans and nature are integrated. After completion, it operated well.
The road renovation project of Jinyinhu Ring Road was completed and opened to traffic in June 2016. The project combines the beautiful natural scenery of Jinyin Lake and adopts a road+landscape approach to achieve overall upgrading, known as the "most beautiful lake surrounding landscape road in Wuhan".
In 2020, this project was awarded the first-class achievement in the evaluation of survey and design results in Hubei Province.
