Introduction

The project is located in Taohua Island Wetland Park, Yuan'an County, with a total of four bridges including the Juhe River Cross River Landscape Pedestrian Bridge, the Northern River Landscape Pedestrian Bridge, the Southern River Landscape Pedestrian Bridge, and the Flood Discharge Canal Landscape Pedestrian Bridge.

The pedestrian bridge spanning the Juhe River in the main bridge cleverly uses curves to enrich the changes in form in both plan and elevation, outlining the posture of a phoenix lying on the Juhe River, with a grand yet delicate atmosphere. The bridge is S-shaped, combining rigidity and flexibility, with a simple and elegant design and color scheme, giving people a sense of simplicity and purity. The steel structure space curve decoration shed on the bridge deck is decorated with Chinese red, lively and unrestrained, with undulating contours, displaying the beauty of rhythm without reservation. Pedestrians feel a sense of amusement when they are on the bridge: leaning against the railing and looking out, the beautiful scenery is fully visible. Strolling on the bridge, through the mottled wings carved on the decorative shed, every view is a different beauty.

The Taohua Island Bridge Project in Yuan'an County was completed and opened to traffic in August 2019. This beautifully designed bridge, with orange red as the main color scheme, is not only a must pass for the public to enter Taohua Island Park, but also connects the "Four Pavilions and One Center" in Yuan'an City with Taohua Island Park, constructing a "15 minute fitness circle" covering the central urban area. Known as the 'most beautiful internet celebrity bridge' by local residents.

In 2021, this project was awarded the "Second Class Achievement Evaluation of Survey and Design Results in Hubei Province".
