Fuxing Avenue Cross Jianghan Canal Bridge Project
Introduction
The Fuxing Avenue Cross Jianghan Canal Bridge Project is located in Jingzhou High tech Zone and is an important node project of the Jingzhou Fuxing Avenue Expressway Cross Jianghan Canal Bridge. The project mainly involves a (75.5+183+75.5) m twin tower cable-stayed bridge spanning the Jianghan Canal.
The key and difficult point of this project is coordination and unity. The overall plan is to widen the side of the existing 318 old continuous beam bridge foundation. The bridge design is innovative and adopts an asymmetric cable-stayed tower column design, making the new cable-stayed bridge and the existing G318 old bridge in harmony.
The landscape design of this project is based on regional culture, historical background, and people's living preferences. The red tower top columns reflect the locality and context of the bridge.
This project was completed in September 2024, making it an iconic landscape in Jingzhou City and a favorite spot for nearby residents to check in during leisure time. Throughout Jingzhou City and the entire Jianghan Canal, it is also a unique landscape point.
